Two Armenians were sentenced in France

A French court has sentenced three men and a woman to life in prison for their crimes.

It is reported by lanouvellerepublique.fr.

They are accused of smuggling and robbery.

Two of the four convicted are Armenians. Thus, Andranik and Marina were prosecuted for smuggling tobacco and other products from Eastern Europe.

10,990 euros in cash, 651 boxes of tobacco, 231 boxes of cigarettes, 300 grams of gold jewelry, 36 bottles of elite perfume, 35 bottles of vodka and ammunition were seized from Marina’s house.

Marina was sentenced to 6 months of house arrest with a probation period of 5 months. Andranik, who was sentenced to six months in prison, will also have to pay a fine of 70,720 euros.
