The statement came from European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on Twitter, TASS reports.
«We reaffirm our solidarity with Ukraine. If the situation worsens, we will impose large-scale sanctions agreed with the partners. The EU-Russia dialogue continues. We continue the dialogue with Russia, but we do not accept attempts to divide Europe into spheres of influence,» he said.
