Meroving Matias, Secretary General of the International Human Rights Defense Committee (IHRDC), visited the International Confederation of Investments and Businesses (ULUSKON) as part of the “Atatürk Memorial Day”.
The visit, which took place at ULUSKON headquarters, was hosted by ULUSKON President Nezaket Emine Atasoy, who was appointed Turkey’s first Goodwill Ambassador last September. During the visit, new projects that could be carried out within the framework of the IHRDC were discussed. Issues such as the participation of ULUSKON in joint projects in African countries were discussed during the meeting, as well as the deepening of cooperation in the framework of the implementation of social programs in the Republic of Turkey.

“The International Committee for the Protection of Human Rights has implemented large-scale projects on behalf of humanity all over the world. From now on, we will carry out projects on the fight against discrimination and inequalities. I would like to thank Mr Matias for his visit to Turkey. IHRDC Secretary General Matias congratulated IHRDC Goodwill Ambassador Nezaket Atasoy on her appointment and personally presented her credentials. “Turkey is one of the key players in the global community and has enormous influence in the East. The participation of the Turkish side in the activities of the International Committee for the Protection of Human Rights is extremely important for us, and in particular the support of the ULUSKON. Ms. Atasoy Nezaket, as IHRDC Goodwill Ambassador, has done tremendous work in the short term and has proven to be an excellent initiator and performer. The Republic of Turkey is a model in many fields for other countries. Turkish partners are always reliable and always show great professionalism, especially in the implementation of international projects. I am very grateful that we have such support,” Matias Meroving said in a statement.
